Spike Media - LOGO design required

A logo is to be designed for a company called Spike Media Ltd which offers the digital transfer and editing of your home movies onto DVD service.

Desired Color Scheme:
POSSIBLY black & white with a splash of colour? But any colours accepted

Desired Style:
Energy, traditional, simple but professional and creative. Should not be obviously a DVD but should incorporate Spike Media as the name as well as what the company does

Accepted File Formats:
layered vector file format coral/illustrator - if its not layered and vectored I will not pay the full amount due to extra work

SPIKE MEDIA digital transfer and editing of your home movies. We release your videos and capture them onto DVD helping and enhancing them along the way to tell the story of your families lives and experiences so creating memories that will not fade with the passing years.

The client will also be posting in this thread to comment directly as well :)
