our target audience will initially be ages 10-20 but would not want to be too gamified. It is important for us to convey professionalism and not a game. We'd prefer to keep it simple, clean and attractive. consider neutral blues or general light neutral tones, non alarming. With that being said, we're stil talking about music here which is food for the soul and don't want to seem to strict or "educational", it is supposed to be fun and inspiring to learn and play music! :)
Feel free to play around with capital letters, or lower case, whatever you feel!
Also, feel free to omit the slogan as we're not sure we'll stick with it.
music learning and playing but with NO CLASSIC NOTES NOTATION OR SYMBOLS whatsoever. The whole meaning of our tool is to replace the traditional classical notes system. We will attach examples of how our notes system works with examples for the respective instruments. This means no notes, keys, staff, clefs or ledger lines . blues, aquas, or colourful scheme. guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, organ, flute, recorder but not just one. all or nothing.
Also, the tool will provide feedback to the learner as he plays the music and will score and provide the user with their progress. Also , the app will provide a few levels of difficulty for a certain song, enabling the user to decide on which level they would like to learn and practice. I realise all this won't be conveyed in the logo itself but i thought it might give some more insights.
We also would not like any sound or amplification icons such as speakers or electronic related equipment.
The challenge here is to portray music and learning without using traditional musical notes or sound icons, and not to be like a piano teacher, meaning not too strict or educational like an annoying high school experience :), but still be cool, slick and serious, but cool.
I'm sorry for all the "no's" and "don't do's", it is important for us to find something original which relates to our mission which is to democratize music learning and playing, and not get held back by the traditional classic notes system, a system which hasn't changed in 600 years!
A PDF is attached. This PDF is a brochure we spun up, mainly for marketing purposes, it holds much more written content and imagery material of the Muzy method itself around page 10.
