We are a live band that plays cover music for high-end weddings, corporate events, private parties and fundraisers. We need a professional, strong brand that would appeal to Fortune 500 companies with large entertainment budgets yet we also want to display our down-to-earth warm and fun personalities that would speak to individuals.
Please visit our website to get a sense of who we are: (http://www.romprod.com)
I want our company to look high end/expensive, edgy and fun. We've currently centered our main brand around the picture attached that features a crowd with their hands in the air as if at a concert. (See RoM Logo w Pic.jpg) We probably want to keep that picture as part of our brand although please do not limit your creativity due to that image or any of my guidelines for that matter. We are open to re-branding everything if needed.
Do Not Like:
I'm really cautious of things that appear cheesy to me, i.e. music symbols, anything girly or cartoonish, etc. (Please DO NOT use music symbols in the logo.)
I Do Like:
I do like when logos have the appearance of multiple dimensions by shading areas, creating shadows, etc.
Colors For The Logo:
For the purpose of the website I need the logo colors to be any of the following: white, silver, grey, any shade of gold - this logo would be against a black backdrop
For our print materials we'll need an alternative logo that would be featured against a white backdrop so you're welcome to incorporate black into the logo if needed.
I've attached a few pictures with samples of logos we've been using. I personally created all of the variations but can't turn them into an actual logo because depending on what program I'm using (i.e. my website creator, picture editing software, etc) they don't all allow me to use the same fonts and images. I don't have access or the knowledge of how to use photoshop. This is where you come in! I hope you take my initial vision and elevate it to the next level.
The elements that I'd be interested in seeing in this logo are: Monogram-type logo using the letters - RoM
Option A: either using monogram letters above our actual name then having the tagline below it:
Republic of Music, Inc.
Leaders In Event Entertainment
Option B: you could use the monogram as a ghost behind our company name (see logo 11, 15). The only thing I'd be careful about is the looking looking too cluttery. I want strong, simple statements in the logo.
Option C: you can go as creatively as crazy as you want - we're open to new ideas!
Side Note: you have the option of omitting our tag line if it doesn't work with your logo vision. You could also create a logo entirely based on an art piece or monogram without any actual words or our company title.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting us with our branding!! We can't wait to see what you come up with!
