Thank you to Cbrow35 for listening, understanding and executing on our brief so seamlessly - which was made more difficult for her by our novice ways of providing direction and trying to articulate what we had in mind. She seemed to understand us spot on!
Cbrow35 came up with a perfect design for our core business idea and target audience, and was particularly helpful in all of the finalisation and handover process.

How Project Nightlight started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a non-profit organization that inspires/empowers teens to reach out for help if they are being physically, sexually or emotionally abused. We also work with younger children, but our audience for the logo is 13-17, so we are looking for something hip that will appeal to teens. Kids use nightlights when they are afraid of the dark, so we are symbolically a nightlight for them.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Some ideas are a cool outline of a nightlight. or somehow incorporating bright colors into the words project nightlight. even a creature such as in the "Radiate" example above. We thought about using a heart, but decided against that.
Even though this is a serious subject, our programs are very high energy. We kick our month- long programs off by taking groups skateboarding, surfing and to fashion events. We try to show kids that they don't have to be embarrassed or ashamed.
