Outstanding and timely work by Newton. Very happy with services. Would use again for other creative designs. Thank you!
Always easy to work with even when I wasn’t the easiest to give direction
How dcHj started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Kraken Cove Productions
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a freelance video producer - I need a design that will catch the eye of both high-tech clients and high-end agencies, but not intimidate small companies or brands that are just starting out. I have a video production company that creates video content and is hired for anything from corporate video to commercials, brand videos to music videos. We also shoot/stream live events and do travel photojournalism. We are hired both directly by clients, as well as by agencies.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Entertainment & The Arts
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
No pink, and please avoid pastels. Color choices should be bold, and while I am leaning towards cool tones (blue, purple, etc) I have not chosen brand colors yet and am open to suggestions. Also, please avoid using gradients; stick to solid colors.

Like all the natural elements involved in creative ways, but might want it simplified a bit. Like how all elements come together.
Sleek and elegant, a strong creative image. Would prefer if the name/text was worked into the design more, but the image logo itself is fantastic.
Feels like one cohesive design. Detailed yet simple.
Fun, maybe a little too playful, but creative.
Well-designed, all the pieces fit together. Like it's a bit edgy and bold.
A kraken should be the focus/mascot of the logo, and important it has eight legs. What makes it a kraken and not just an octopus? Perhaps the shape of the head, or the tentacles... certainly the eyes could play a role here. A kraken is mythical/mysterious... edgy is good but not too evil.
Also, the design needs to read small, so not a lot of fine detail.
Lastly, I would like the name of the company worked into the design somehow - whether that is through the use of a banner, circle, arc, I'm not sure but I would definitely like to see some options where the text isn't simply placed underneath the kraken.
