We are a gathering place at the center of the downtown of a historic city. Where the community comes together for events, performances, farmers markets and community gatherings.
The new logo should reflect fun, family, community, quality of life by presenting a simple, clean, modern, instantly recognizable image that may be used in a variety of media.
We have the opportunity to “reach back” to old English/Tudor and “reach forward” to modern interpretations of “living local” for branding, marketing, festivals, etc.
We would like to incorporate a Flying Tudor Pig in Tudor Square logo. The logo should have a Flying Tudor Pig, that can stand alone as a graphic, as well as the text:
Both the flying pig graphic and text should be strong enough to stand alone for separate use in a variety of media.
Pigs, when funny, are memorable and can be articulated by adults, kids, and people English is a second/third/fifth language, etc. (el Puerco; Schwein; Prase, etc)
“I will meet you at the Tudor Square, you can’t miss it – look for the flying pig” versus “I will meet you at Tudor Square, you can’t miss it, look for the multicolored people wheel”.
Establish your “stable” of images and uses. And, you could adopt the tag line “when pigs fly”. (Surely there is a Tudor Square festival event/competition that involves flying pigs, even if they are powered by rubber bands and beer.)
Humor is happy, humor is fun: this is verbal and visual clean humor with so many possibilities.
