rshacklett got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Photography Logo (engineering/architecture/construction)
Check out rshacklett's Logo design contest…
I am looking for a logo that incorporates the company name but contains a graphic element that can stand alone. I'd prefer to avoid the "cliche" photography symbols and instead develop something that speaks to my photographic niche.
Engineering Photo Solutions
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: typically prefer to avoid red, but open to ideas; tend to layout on black Desired Style: professional, timeless, potential for "brand recognition" Accepted File Formats: .ai or .psd preferred; vector graphics preferred My niche is engineering, construction, architecture, and aerial photography. As I mentioned, I would prefer a logo that contains a graphic/symbol that can stand alone for purposes of a watermark, etc. In general, the logo would be displayed on a black background; however, I need it to translate to a white background as well. I'm open to color, but the grayscale appearance will be important. I am based out of Denver, Colorado. My website may provide additional ideas and information: http://www.engineeringphotos.com While I do not want a logo with a photo in it (for simplicity and reproduction reasons), I do have a photo that I've considered using as a starting point. If anyone has and ideas for stylized use of this image (i.e. not as a photo), feel free to submit them! http://www.engineeringphotos.com/pic.jpg If you have any questions please post them. Although I am not familiar with it first hand, I've edited the contest to include payment by Western Union. Thanks!
