Jdavenport11 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Photography Blog Needs Logo Based on Concept Provided!
Check out Jdavenport11's Logo design contest…
I currently run a daily photography blog that I'd like to grow into a more serious business of showcasing not only my photography, but other photographer. As well as provide a place for people to learn the basics of becoming a successful photography blogger.
Logo types to explore
Okay - First thing's first - I've provided a rough concept for you to follow below. Please take time to look at this concept as this is an IMPORTANT starting point for the design. This sketch is a guideline as to how I'd like the final logo to look. It's essential that there be a twisting web of lines connecting the letters of the word "photography" to the name of my site "Phogropathy". There doesn't need to be any fancy camera related clipart or graphics as I feel that might take away from the twisting maze of lines. I'd like this design to be fun and loud. Something that grabs attention instead of something that screams professional business. The more unique the better! I'd like the design to be as future proof as possible. This means that anything outside the primary twisting web connecting PHOTOGRAPHY to PHOGROPATHY is less important and could change as my business grows and develops. I'd like the ability to have those secondary elements easily editable either by being on their own layer in a PSD file or being in locations where cutting them out would not destroy the primary focus of the logo. Again. The file that I've provided is a concept that I've had in my head for months and is something that should be seen in the final image. I realize it's a tricky design, but if you can pull it off, I think it'd really showcase your ability to step outside the box and design a truly unique piece of work. Thanks for reading this brief I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
