How Patrice.chamberlain started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
California Summer Meal Coalition
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
When school ends for summer vacation, so does the school lunch program that many low-income children rely upon. We are a statewide coalition of nonprofits and state agencies working to fight childhood hunger and obesity by increasing access to USDA summer nutrition programs. These programs help kids in low-income neighborhoods by providing free, healthy lunches and a safe place to be physically active and engaged.
Our target audience: Leaders at the state and local level representing school districts, community-based agencies, government agencies, and municipalities. We also work with USDA and national-level leaders. At some point, the Coalition may expand its focus to also reaching low-income families in California.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We have been using a Clip Art sun (for better or worse). A sun (or some other summer-related image) may help the continuity as far as brand recognition. I selected the logos above because I like the idea of a relatively simple image (or images) that fit concisely with the company name. And I need the company name (California Summer Meal Coalition) to read clearly.
