Like mythology? Creative license to create a logo for a mythological merchandise brand

We need a logo for a brand called Myth Motto. We create T-shirts and other merchandise that is based on mythology and fairy tales. We're leaving room for creativity, but it should have some element of mythology (if you like mythology, have fun with this!). We would like an icon above the words "Myth Motto"-- the icon SHOULD BE PART OF MYTHOLOGY OR WRITING IN SOME WAY. IT SHOULD NOT BE AN M. (The image should be able to be easily separated from the text, not attached to it.) We originally had the idea of a quill pen, but would like to see what you come up with. This logo should present both an old-world mythological feel mixed with contemporary minimalism. The image should be simple enough to have stitched on textiles without too much complication. A muted pale purple color (like the image attached) would be best, but again leaving it up to your creativity. Thank you, we look forward to seeing what you come up with!
