TheOscar is not only a fantastic designer, he's also amazingly patient and responsive to adjustments. I had a great time working with him through this process but I'm even more excited that my company has found a guy we want tow work with on other endeavors. This guy is the real deal.

I really like the way the Apple logo is done - it looks like machined aluminum which is good for our company. Something like this for the TV frame and glass for the screen might be acceptable - I would also be open to new ideas. The glass portion of the screen needs to look graphical and stylish-- not too fake and not too realistic. It also doesn't have to be glass if you want to make it out of some other machined metal surface.
Furthermore, the design then needs to be floating like the example shown. But remember, all colors are monochromatic grays and silvers so the surface it is floating above, be it solid or be it liquid metal, would also be gray or black. The logo can have a glow and a shadow to set it off the surface. The logo can also have some chunks breaking off of the split TV since it did break at some point and this is just one still in the life of this TV. The "chunks" are best described by the broken glass in the folder Logo Surfaces as well as the video below.
I would like it to be a 3D logo feel that can be a model used in AfterFX and 3D animation software. If you as a designer can also animate I would want to know that as once I have my 3D logo I do want to animate it.
