Based in the Atlanta, Georgia area, Selectek is a staffing firm that focuses specifically on engineering staffing. They have been in business since 1991, and have gone by the name Selectek since 1995.
For more than 22 years, they have focused solely on engineering—Selectek has unique understanding of the nuances of the engineering disciplines. They know what their clients are looking for and the skills a candidate needs to be a perfect fit for those needs. Therefore, Selectek is able to provide more qualified engineering candidates than their competitors—candidates who have been thoroughly screened and vetted, and are presented to the client very quickly.
Selectek offers their client consistency in knowing that they will receive the best matched candidate for their needs—every time.
Selectek's mission is to provide qualified engineering staffing in a timely manner to our clients. We do this by thoroughly screening our candidates through work references, background checks and drug screening. Our goal is to have qualified candidates to the client within 24 hours of receiving a client order. No candidate is a mismatch. We understand our clients' needs.
Their target audience is business owners, engineering managers and human resource managers in A&E (architecture and engineering), EPC (engineering-procurement-construction), manufacturing and durable medical firms, and power and energy companies throughout the Southeast.
Engineering candidates with experience and skills specific to these industries are also a target audience.
Selectek often faces an issue with the pronunciation and spelling of their company name, phonetically sounded "select-tech." If possible, the new logo should address this—maybe with a visual color change between Selec and tek – or by capitalizing the "T."
Selectek will be expanding their offerings into IT—a service that they currently offer, but will officially be a Selectek division. The logo will need to accommodate the tagline as it stands, and possibly an IT tag in the future.
Engineering. Staffing. Solutions.
