Community & Non-Profit
We are a Chamber of Commerce located in Paola, Kansas, a small-town 30 miles south of Kansas City. We are a membership organization serving businesses of all sizes, from mom-and-pop stores to corporate entities like Walmart. We provide networking opportunities, business development & consulting, marketing, and community events.
Logo types to explore
We are growing rural community, with a rich history and strong sense of tradition. We'd like to represent a modern version of our community with our logo looking to the future. Our town is centered around a town square with a lovely park and gazebo in the middle. One block off the square is our historic courthouse. Both the gazebo and courthouse are icons in the community. Buildings are all early 1900s with some modernization. The area around Paola is becoming well-known for agritourism and wineries, whereas it used to be more traditional farming. We see the community the same way, transitioning from a historic community to one focusing on the future. We will use the logo in many ways, from website to business cards, etc. We're open to various color schemes. We're simultaneously working on a new website and the color of the logo might influence that. One of the color schemes that we like is www.zingermanscoffee.com but feel free to experiment with colors. We'd prefer to stay away from stock photos and clip art. The Chamber serves dual roles - we work with businesses in the community and we promote the community to tourists as well. Therefore we'd like a logo that could be used in both instances. Since we will use the logo in a variety of ways, we require it in eps or ai format as well as gif/png.
