Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
NSGDA is a collection of video game development companies that want to provide a united front as they communicate to certain groups of people. On the one hand we want to be taken seriously as a group as we lobby the regional and national governments on relevant issues as they effect our industry. On the other hand we sponsor events with schools and universities that act as community out reach projects. We need to be taken seriously by stuffy bureaucrats and also by young, up and coming hipsters and students. there are 20 companies in the association, mostly small ones.

Logo types to explore

the nova scotia flag, red bull and Bully game logo are interesting things to consider. Please feel no need to incorporate these things. But please know that Nova Scotia is a maritime Province of Canada which has an interesting mix of traditional history (War in the age of sail, fishing villages, British and French fortresses and battles) mixed with a strong, modern tech industry. The Halifax Citadel is a massive fortress in the middle of our capitol who's dramatic, overhead star shape has been incorporated in many logos. Lighthouses are also used as a regional, ubiquitous emblem which has become cliche. But clever artists might be able to use them in a fresh way. Also lobsters.
