The National Institute of Integrative Medicine (or NIIM) is a not for profit medical organisation established by Professor Avni Sali, with the help of community supporters. NIIM brings together education and research in Integrative Medicine, that is the combination of conventional and evidence-based complementary medicine and treatments, as well as facilitating its practice at our NIIM Wellness Clinic.
Our highly qualified research team, in collaboration with other medical bodies, universities and institutes, conducts research into the safety and efficacy of complementary medicine in the prevention, detection and treatment of diseases, adjunctive cancer treatments, foods and supplements. Using the latest rigorous scientific methods, this research is vital in establishing a recognised evidence base for complementary and integrative therapies in the medical community to achieve the best possible medical outcome for patients.
Accredited online education programs are available for those in the healthcare industry and interested members of the general public. Free lectures on medical topics are offered to Healthcare professionals and also free public lectures are offered on a regular basis to educate the public on health and wellbeing issues.
In the NIIM Wellness Clinic, our patients range from everyday people visiting the clinic for a medical check-up, executives undertaking our premium 'Integrative HealthCheck Program' to patients and their families who are battling life-threatening illnesses, coming for specialist healthcare and medical treatments.
NIIM is a leader in Integrative Medicine, offering the best healthcare for the prevention and treatment of cancer, heart disease, dementia, diabetes, autoimmune disease and other illnesses.
