New logo for the Swedish vertical farmer - Ljusgårda

Ljusgårda is a vertical farming company. We supply Sweden with fresh Swedish lettuce, all year around. We combine Nordic industrial innovation and traditions in farming to build a company that makes people and plants grow. By the summer of 2021 we've finished our first large scale facility. A 80.000 sq. ft. industrial indoor farm with the capacity of providing our customers with over 45 tons of produce each month. By the end of 2023 we're aiming to be the biggest supplier and brand of bagged lettuce in the Swedish grocery market.

The Ljusgårda brand has been developing since 2018. Our in-house marketing team has so far created packaging designs, campaigns, printed material, media etc. Now we came to a milestone where we will move from being a small local brand, to be the biggest supplier and brand of bagged lettuce in less then 3 years. With that comes the need for a total re-branding and re-work for our visual identity, graphic designs, packaging designs etc. In this we feel very confident of what we want our brand to become. What kind of expressions, colors and fonts goes well with our vision and can be combined with good copy and strong marketing campaigns. BUT we feel that we outgrew our logotype and that it is holding us back. Therefore we are looking for external designers to make an updated logo based on the ideas and concepts we have for a future visual identity and look. It's the other way around, we know! With that being said we are looking for a design that goes well with our concept, feels modern yet timeless, and can be simple enough to create a strong brand recognition in our stores, but at the same time be the symbol for strong innovation and the future for a sustainable food production. We've added pictures of our old logo. The "Ljusgårda" with a written font and the sun beams. Feel free to take ideas from this, but the elements don't need to be included if you have a better idea. With the new packaging designs we've in-cooperated color coding for different packaging, based on the flat UI package palette (https://flatuicolors.com/palette/defo).
