For 40 years, the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland has been providing support and advice to people approaching retirement in Ireland. The main ways in which we do this through:
1) Delivering a range of informative and educational seminars focussing not just upon the financial elements that need to be considered but also upon lifestyle changes that can be expected.
2) Offering all seminar attendees, lifetime access to expert advice from our resource centre.
3) Working with government on issues pertaining to retirement.
4) Developing strategic partnerships with like-minded organisations to support common goals.
The current brand identity (logo) artwork was developed approximately 20 years ago. It comprises a clipart figure, wavy line and the initials RPC along with either “The Retirement Planning Council” or the tagline “Because Life Changes”. The shape is not condusive to digital communications. The colour palette is staid and unimaginative. We no longer want to use RPC in our corporate communications or identity and the tagline will be discontinued.
AUDIENCE – Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer
We work with Human Resource departments (B2B) in organisations across all industries but our courses are also suitable for individuals to attend. As such, we require something with a contemporary and professional "look and feel" that won't alienate the individual consumer but will invite them to engage with us.
Our overall target demographic is male and female aged between 30 and 70 years with varying levels of education (from basic school qualifications to PHD).
It should be noted that our business demographic within the Human Resources industry is predominantly female and aged between 25 and 55.
REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES
We would like a fresh, contemporary, inviting and easily recognisable design that can be used across all media channels.
It should carry mass appeal for an adult demographic aged 25 to 70 years.
The shape and size of the logo should be such that it can work across digital and traditional formats i.e. it will transfer from social media to print media.
The colour palette that can be used is entirely flexible but should reflect the above requirement for professional but accessible piece of artwork.
The organisation currently does not use a tagline.
The term “RPC” should not be used in any communications or identity artwork. The only terms to be used to refer to the organisation is “Retirement Planning Council” or “Retirement Planning Council of Ireland”.
We do not have a tagline at the moment – the former tagline “Because Life Changes” is no longer in use.
