About us
The purposes of The Montana Professional Health and Wellness Program (MPHWP) is exclusively and specifically established to: 1) administer a program to assist and rehabilitate licensed health care professionals who are found to be physically or mentally impaired by habitual intemperance or the excessive use of drugs, alcohol, or other substances or as a result of other physical or mental disease, disorders, or defects; 2) make these services available to all licensed Montana healthcare professionals, and 3) provide for the education of Montana healthcare professionals with respect to recognition and treatment of alcohol dependency, chemical dependency and mental illness and the availability of the professional health program for these and any other qualifying illnesses.
