tadashi200I got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for a NGO promoting a new Nuclear Weapon Free Zone in North East Asia

Coalition 3+3 (C3+3) is an NGO whose mission is to build the first Nuclear Weapon Free Zone in North East Asia, spanning geographically Japan, South Corea, and North Corea (3 countries), and involving the USA, China, and Russia as backers to the project (+3 countries). A Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (NWFZ) bans the manufacture, deployment and transit of nuclear weapons in a specific geographical region and expects the nuclear weapon states not to threaten or use nuclear weapons against such zones or states therein. Politically, it is also an effective regional measure that promotes confidence and predictability in the region. NWFZs today cover 56% of the Earth’s surface, 60% of the United Nations membership and 39% of the world’s population. That is indeed a remarkable accomplishment which did not come easy. C3+3 is currently building its communication platform to raise funds to be able to promote the project among international politicians. The target audience is thus governments, government organizations (ex. European Union), large corporate foundations (ex. Ford Foundations, high-tech etc.).
We are not sure of how the C3+3 should appear in the logo and do not have a strict position on this. i.e. do not feel restricted by the "C3+3" component as a whole, you can break down / play with C/3/3 elements if you think it can serve the design
