Chanoma got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for app making intros easier
Check out Chanoma's Logo design contest…
We are building an app that enables one to find new connections via one’s own network. Through our app “Bridge”, one can ask for intros to his/her friends, and also make intros as well in a messaging style. Asking our friends “Do you know anyone that…?” can be a bit intimidating and costly at times, and we often end up not finding the ideal person, or using some sort of paid services. However, by making the process a lot simpler, we believe one can find the person he/she is looking for by leveraging one’s own network. We like to make Bridge easy and accessible so that it would be natural for anyone to ask his/her friend via Bridge when looking for someone. Our initial target users are people in their 20s~30s in the Tech Community in Silicon Valley. Since our app is a mobile app, we’d like our logo to be a one that people can use freely everyday. We’d like the logo design to be casual, reflecting our app which encourages friendly communications via messaging. We don’t want to give a taste like Linkedin, focusing on B2B and ROI.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Logo can be a letter ‘B’ of the first letter of Bridge. It can also be some kind of symbol reflecting our service. Please see attached PDF as a reference. Two-tone color - blue and one other color - preferably in white. Sizes: We want our logo to be able to use for all iPhone sizes. We’d also like to use our logo for our favicon. We will have our logo in our website as well. Please refer to the URL below for iPhone sizes https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/MobileHIG/IconMatrix.html
