I need a logo for an advertising agency called : 622 . This is a new company based in an Arab Gulf country. Desired format is a vector file (.eps, svg..). No colors instructions for the moment. Logo can be simple or complex as long as it convey the message of the company (cf question C).PLEASE READ UPDATE MESSAGE

I thank you for you effort in trying to design this difficult logo. My choice to leave the brief open was to actually make it easier for you to come up with something exclusive. I spent myself a lot of time trying to design it so I know how those 3 numbers offer few combinations.

I liked a couple of logos being submitted (and I think it reflected on my feedback ) and their overall quality but not enough for me to declare a winner and use the logo..

I am thinking of (Alphabetical order):

Instead of closing this contest (which is unfair at this stage) I rather offer the possibility to improve directly on my own last good concept and make it ready for print with :
(better curves for the numbers, more harmony,proportions, thickness,colors and effects (if discreet),etc....anything really that is taken into consideration by professional designers.(if you re one, then you know better).

I need something, contemporary, modern, sophisticated yet simple. I will pay a lots of attention to details.Any good idea that would reflect well on printing is highly appreciated (texture, embossed...).Please show sample of how it would look if branded on a stationary item of your choice.

I guarantee that someone will win this contest, and it's not going to be me. Future business will be seriously considered starting from the stationary to new design requirements...

A. What does 622 mean ?
622 CE (Common Era) is the first year of the Arabo-Islamic calendar.
Possible design directions :
-(Cancelled : Maybe some touch inspiring history,papyrus and manuscript...)Just focus on a very contemporary and classy look.
-The logo can if possible give some kind of tips that this is an annum

B Why a number ?
-To avoid having to choose between an Arabic and an English name.
-To be different.
Possible design directions :
-Has to be clearly a logo vs an area code number lost in my stationary.
-Instant impact is required, we have to read 622 straight away.

C What is particular about the company?
The agency will try its best to :
1*.Abide by the rules(best practice,codes...) of ethics in advertising and marketing.
2*.Match with Arabo-Islamic cultural values and principles.
3*.Listen to what anti advertising people are saying.
Possible design directions :
*1.Colors and shape inspiring Transparency,Honesty, Responsibility,Ecologist kind of thing
*2. Arabic style shapes and colors.PLEASE don't insist on the Islamic symbols, they are mostly used on real building in this part of the world.If you don't master this aspect focus on point 1 and 2.
*3.Urban feel, concrete,alternative..

My advice is work on the design directions you are comfortable with, (especially if you are not familiar with the Arabic culture).
