I have started a new company. It is a consulting firm that specializes in sustainability. In its broadest definition, sustainability is the use of ecosystems and their resources in a manner that satisfies current needs without compromising the needs or options of future generations. A sustainable business is one that generates profits for its owners, protects the environment, and improves the lives of the people with whom it interacts. Sustainability goes beyond "being green," as sustainable practices support the health and vitality of our ecological, social, and economic relationships. Simply put, sustainability is central to our kids and future generations, and aims to answer the question of, "how do we live today so that they can thrive tomorrow?" I want the logo to professional and fresh. I hope to be working mostly with schools but I also want to stay general.

We want to help clients that are big enough to want a strategic approach to sustainability, but don’t necessarily have the staff, budget, or expertise to do it all themselves. Sustainability is a bit of a buzz word that most don't really understand. It covers healthy systems in the physical place, educational programs, health and wellness as well as the culture of the organization.
