How hazzardsb started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
See below - we are not sure if we want our name in our logo. Designer's choice
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We would not necessarily like our name incorporated in our logo unless the designer thinks it is a good idea. Our company is Shadow Owl, LLC. We have a variety of business areas, but our main area of expertise is extermination of invasive species (we track and kill animals that are not native to the local ecosystems).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Just would like everything in grayscale or browns - probably tend towards browns.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Lion is ready to pounce, looks ready for action.
Gray scale, sharp edges.
I like the outline of the wolf. Looks ready for action.
Definition in the wings, all one color for the condor
Sharp edges, looks serious, doesn't look like every other website logo now-a-days with super rounded edges and bright colors.
The reason behind our name Shadow Owl, LLC is that owls hunt at night, and since it is night time, they don't have a shadow. The animals that owls kill don't ever see them or hear them; they don't even glimpse the owl's shadow before they are dead. We would like to portray that we are swift, silent, unseen and unheard. Also, we do a lot of work at night. We were thinking about a combination of Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance Cover (but not so much like a machine - we like the natural form of owls), a picture of an owl coming in for the kill, and nighttime. One of our initial ideas is the silhouette of an owl coming in for the kill in front of a 1/4 full moon, all in greys and blacks.
We would like the logo to convey that we are dangerous, professionals, and get in and get out before the invasive species even know what hit them. We can't decide if having some beady eyes on the silhouette of the owl is a good idea or not. There are some pictures of things we like attached to this request.
