iEffects got their new logo design by running a design contest:
iEffects Digital Revolution
Check out iEffects's Logo design contest…
Founded in 2009, we're a 12-employee App devlopment company located in Zurich, Switzerland. We focused since the beginning on a software product to build m-commerce Apps (shopping Apps). Therefore, we're in the first place an engineering team. Our software product is now ready to scale and it beats all other technologies in terms of quality. The extra quality is mostly speed and interaction design. On the other hand, the efforts are higher. Our brand equities are reliable, concentrated, foresighted. The services we offer is nothing more than the Digital Revolution. We do this directly by building Apps or we'd like to sell licenses of our product to internet agencies, that they build Apps all over the world. A logo already exists, see attached back-side of our business card, an attached preliminary offer PDF and our website ieffects.com. The color of the card is pantone 8281, but that looks horrible on websites. Using the full logo, the "i" of iEffects is not recognized as "i", because it looks more like a "j". What we like is that the "i" alone is very strong, on all backgrounds. The metallic color looks nice printed and one is able to tell a story because it is special. The logo is nearly everywhere, but specially on PDF documents. They are printed by the customer himself. Because no trimming is possible, the background is white. We used the logo even in our customers Apps in that company's CI on the "About" page. We need a logo, which exists in two versions: standalone and together with the company name iEffects. The standalone logo may be part of iEffects (as it is now) or completly independent.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
iEffects collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
We are very pleased with the final design. Our designer has shown an excellent customer service. He responded very quickly and implemented every wish of ours very precise. He mostly appreciate the round the clock availability!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
