Sticks to the brief, good instincts for predicting what you would like if given the correct direction. Highly recommended.
Great Work! Responsive and diligent.

We develop and sell fixed-wing drones (looks like an airplane) that help livestock ranchers monitor and manage their lands. We also develop web application software to control the drones and analyze the data. In essence, we are an Agriculture Technology company focused on building fixed-wing drones..

Rancher's take pride in their farms and ranches. I want to convey a feeling of protection, comfort, trust, and competence. Barn owl's have a heart shaped face, and I'd like the heart to be visible yet subtle. I like the face of the owl in the shutterstock photo...it's sincere yet approachable.
In my sketches, I tried to convey the owl "wrapping" it's wings around the land/ranch, but I think I like the one with just an owl (keeping it simple). I think I would like the owl to be looking down more to convey a feeling of overwatch. Feel free to play with the angles on the owl (it doesn't necessarily have to be a front view).
For colors, barn owls are naturally brown and white. I was thinking brown & orange, brown & green, or brown & blue for the color scheme, but I'm open to suggestions.
