LifeDevelopment needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 11 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
The contest is about designing the "Head" of this new, innovative blog in the personal development niche.
HereIsYourFuture.com
Hi everyone!
Here's a great project.
After running the largest Self Help community in Scandinavia (http://www.livshandboken.se) for a couple of years, I soon will launch my first blog project.
I hope you will enjoy participating in this contest.
Best regards,Kristian Borglund

- The head should be 900 px wide. The hight is up to you, I don't want to limit your creativity. But no extremes, just "normal".
The head should contain:
- - The
title of the blog: HereIsYourFuture.com
- - The
subtitle: Discover What's Possible -- Within Hours, Days,
Weeks And Years.
- The feeling:
- If the
blog were given a personality it would be: I am service minded, warm, on the edge
(having the latest and best ideas), creative, sharp and goodhearted. The design should
give the impression that the blog makes a difference for you as a
reader, and if possible a sense of making them feel involved.
- The edge of the blog is bringing the latest information from the Self Help niche, with the scope of taking society trends in consideration (for example Web 2.0-stuff).
- Maybe use shadowed pictures somehow? I don't know. To give a sense
of people enjoying life (career/life)? Just an idea to increase the identification-feeling. I don't
have a budget to buy photos, but maybe free stock-sites can be used?
- The font I will use when writing the actual posts is Garamond 12px -- if that's something you need to consider when designing the logo.
The tabs usually designed right below the head (where you
click to get to other sections of the web page like "About the blog",
"Contacts", "Products" etc), are NOT
included in this project. That's the next step. AFTER this project I
need someone to make the overall design of the blog, based on the
"feeling" and design of the head.
