This is a podcast based on a Canadian-centric music/history/culture/identity/education project called Six String Nation. Background and styles of musical guests may be from quite a wide range but all will play a particular acoustic guitar and most will be Canadian. As currently conceived, each episode would be no longer than 10 minutes. The target audience would primarily be fans of Canadian music and Canadian history.

The podcast is intended to be short interview/performance segments during which the interviewer asks the guest artist to talk about the relationship between music and place and perform a song which is rooted in a notion of place. The vast majority of guests will be Canadian. The podcast will refer to - and is a spin-off of - the Six String Nation project (see http://www.sixstringnation.com ) and all performances will be on (or include if the guest is a duo or group) the Six String Nation guitar, which is made from pieces of Canadian history and identity from across the country.
Ideally, the logo will be complimentary with the Six String Nation logo, attached. The font used for the "six string nation" word-mark is Myriad.
