pfstudy is the name for a weblog which I created in the context of my bachelor thesis. It is a platform for students to get informed about relevant issues referring to the city Pforzheim and to the university in this city. The problem ist that the city has a very bad image and almost all students define the city as grey and ugly. The idea with this weblog is to spread a positive perception and to prompt feelings for the city. Therefore the slogan stands for a positive blink and the name is composed of the city abbreviation and the word study because of the target audience, the students. In the first instance, pfstudy works as the name for the platform, but over time it should become a brand. It is planned to sell some branded student products on this platform and to include an online shop. The message should be: There is a lot more to explore than only the attractive university. Open your eyes and become feeling your new home.

Because the students associate the color grey with the city, the logo should be colorful to show a positive presence and to show the opposite of their minds. As you can see attached, we've already tried to transfer these points. It is also important that the logo can be used in a smaller version, for example without slogan and just the letters PF. Additionally, we tried to show kind of a skyline of the city, but in reality there is none. The skyline attached shows only a combination of the most known buildings in the city. It was just an idea but it has not to be undertaken.
