Who are you known as?
SPCA Capital Campaign
What’s your company slogan?
Rescue. Respect. Rebuild.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The SPCA of Westchester is a no-kill humane society. We are embarking on a $5M capital campaign to build a new shelter to replace the old, crumbling one we have been patching together for years now. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, neglected or abused dogs, cats and horses (and sometimes even reptiles or other exotics if necessary). We have a Humane Law Enforcement Department ("Animal Cops"). We are a no-kill shelter which means that no adoptable animal will ever be euthanized due to space issues or expense of medical care. No matter how long it takes, we provide a safe place until they find their forever homes. We house up to 100 dogs and 120 cats on any given day. We have a full service veterinary clinic on site with a full time Veterinarian and support staff that provide all of our residents with excellent medical care, as well as providing low cost spay/neuter and vaccination services to the community. We are the oldest SPCA in the country and have been in business since 1833!
This logo will be the identity for our Capital Campaign. Our target audience are high net-worth animal lovers in our community who will be approached to make a significant gift toward our campaign, as well as to our current donors of all levels to inspire them to make an additional gift toward the new facility over the next 5 years. And.. we hope to attract the attention of new donors who may not be familiar with the work that we do.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
dominant color must be Process Blue as that is the organization's primary identity color for their corporate logo. Other colors may be used as well. I'd like to try to keep it to a 3 or 4 spot color logo
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are thinking that a human hand/paw combination would be great. But we are open to ideas!
