---I've updated this for those of you that have made it to the final round. The brief is still the same, but I guess as I learn how this works I am getting better at knowing how to tell you what I want.
Please ask if you are unsure of ANYTHING and tell me what you need from me if I have not already given it.
I'm looking for a logo design that is sharp/techy/sciency yet conveys the natural and ecological element/s of aquatic/water/fish/ecology/etc. I'd like it catchy, easily recognizable and something we can take forward as the business grows and diversifies. Fish are an obvious choice and I'd like to see their their use, but I'm keep to see ideas that also look outside the box a little.
Other brainstorm ideas are the earth's surface is Seven Tenths water, aquatic food webs/life cycles, water flow, etc. If using a fish or other aquatic animal, it need to be either non-descript/unidentifiable (note: no dolphins). If it is identifiable, then it'd need to be identified as Australian.
Colour is very important, and water/ocean colours are key, but the logo would also need to transfer to monotone for printing on light and dark backgrounds.
In your designs I would like to see:
- a full colour version
- a symbol that works above or beside the text of the logo
- the logo in one colour/monotone for printing/embroiding, on light or dark backgrounds.
