We are a music discovery service that focuses exclusively on new music. For 16 - 25 year olds, we deliver a service that simplifies music discovery by heavily curating millions of songs into a small, high-quality database of thousands of songs, making it easier to find the next jam.

We are looking for an illustrative icon design of a hawk's head, facing forward (not to the side) so both eyes are showing. We want headphones placed on the hawk's head to convey the literal meaning of our name: jamhawk. We are a younger brand, so the main challenge is making the hawk's head strike the right balance between serious and playful, which we believe can be communicated through colors. In many hawk head images, the hawk appears menacing, and we wouldn't want this feeling in the logo. Our brand's exists to keep music experiences lively, fresh and young, so the brand should communicate excitement and happiness, balanced with expertise. The most analogous example of a logo that accomplishes this well through animal imagery is Mailchimp's logo, which is attached. Also attaching a few other animal based logos that we like.
