Fantastic job. Great design, wonderful communication!
How BrettFromLA started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I teach people how to make good YouTube videos! It’s a 3-week online workshop. Students watch tutorial videos, make their own videos, rate each others' videos, and get feedback on their videos. By the end they'll be making videos as good as the top YouTubers!
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
I like bold colors. Several designs in this contest have used red and black, and I like those.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
It's fun and dynamic! It looks a little unprofessional too, which I think my students can relate to (since they are going to be making their first video and will be nervous about the expectations!).
Bright colors, simple, fun.
Bright colors, simple, fun, dynamic.
Curly and relaxing.
Fun, dynamic and simple.
Whimsical but it keeps your eye moving around it. Simple, too.
Simple & happy. (I don't really like the kite; it looks like a devil's tail a little bit!)
Simple and amusing!
Funny! And the happy character is likeable! (I don't like that the red text is hard to read.)
Make it fun and cool! Students are going to be 10-20 years old. I expect half to be boys and half to be girls. If possible, give the impression that the classes are easy, and it's easy to become a great video-maker on YouTube.
Here are some ideas you may want to play with, but don't feel like you HAVE TO include them: a video camera or a horizontal cell phone, a video camera on a tripod, lots of happy "fans", a happy person shooting video of himself/herself, a happy person on the screen of a cell phone, the "feel" of the YouTube logo (but not the logo itself since that's trademarked!).
This logo is for a website & app, so make sure it looks good at small resolution. And please emphasize the text "Videos" or "GoodVideos" instead of "HowToMake".
