Games & Recreational
Hello, Sherlock is an escape game company located in Ieper, Belgium. Our first location, The Longest Hour, has opened its doors in 2014 and has been a success ever since. So now, it is time to open up our second location in Ieper, with a new escape game, Virus Escape. New game, new logo! The game actually consists of two different play modes: the scientists who have to stop criminals from spreading a deadly virus in the city of Ieper, and the criminals who have to spread the virus. Both get one hour to do so. We would like you to design a brand new logo for Virus Escape. The logo will be used on our (new) website, flyers, name cards etc. Interested? Here’s what we are looking for: A lot of escape game companies have a logo with a key or with an open/closed door We’re not looking for that kind of logo. The words Virus Escape trigger people. We are looking for something scary, exciting but not too much (we are not a horror-themed game and we do aim on all ages). Something that’s clear and attractive. We would suggest you use the virus icon as a base (see example 1), and create a logo with that, including the words Virus Escape. Maybe use a font/effect that the ‘ink’ of the virus sign is somewhat unequal (see example 2). Or create an effect that the sign and the words Virus Escape ‘come out’ of the background (see example 3). Color wise, we think yellow is associated with viruses. Maybe combine that color with red and/or black. We are looking forward to your creative ideas!
On www.escapegames.be you'll find the logo for our first game, but the new logo for Virus Escape does not have to match that or be similar. We want a better logo for Virus Escape :).
