Creative, intuitive and takes direction well.
Hope to work with this designer again.
Did great work and was very patient with me as we did several tweaks at the end of the contest. Highly recommended.

My work: Developing health communications and creating education materials related to health. I have created stereoscopic 3D product prototypes (for asthma education), interactive maps representing health coverage, diabetes training materials for schools, graphics demonstrating the potential impact of technology and more. But, it's all been for fun. Here is one of the technologies I've worked with in the past year (just to give you an idea that I'm forward thinking and fun): zspace.com
Now, people are reaching out to me asking if they can hire me for projects, so I'm looking for a logo design to make a great impression on my business card and (future) website. My hope is that you can create a shape or image that can be used to represent me to other health professionals, researchers and educational institutions. Creativity encouraged! See the notes below for more.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical

The photos here show you a bit about me (outdoor adventurer and tech nerd). I'm a Public Health professional and nurse who has worked in start-up, not-for-profit and public systems. The logos below are those I've saved because I liked the design. If I could try to use words to describe my style, they would be: clean, a little bit edgy and colorful (in a sophisticated way). It would be great if the logo could convey depth -- in the insulin pic below, I'm picking up a 3D hologram of an insulin molecule -- I have a great interest in incorporating 3D into medicine, patient education and more.
I climb mountains and really enjoy it, so I've chosen a company name that plays on a this a bit and still expresses what I can do to help people achieve their communication and education goals. (I've done the John Muir Trail - 26 nights on the ground, over 100,000 feet in elevation change and many other backpacking trips). However, I'm not tied to a mountain theme in my design, so please take creative license in thinking about how to represent 'elevating' individual and group communications and education to a new level.
Thank you for working on this project. Ask questions -- I'll do everything I can to help you create! I look forward to seeing your ideas.
