I'm a musical artist, specializing in the hip-hop and electronic genres. My music and brand projects an aesthetic of earnestness, independence, thoughtfulness, originality, style, intelligence, and wit.
My target audience encompasses fans of contemporary art forms and fusions of musical genres. They are diverse in interests, well-informed, and versed in popular culture. They maintain an appreciation for the intricacies of lyrical content, metaphors, and messages.

My gut tells me that I'd like to go in the direction of a typographical ("Letter form" above) logo around the initials "DW" to make the brand fashionable and seemlessly applied to merchandise. To this point, the logo should be easily transferrable, showing up sharply in various sizes and on various backgrounds. However, I'd like for the full name, "Drew William" to be spelled out somewhere in the full version of the logo.
I'm a fan of the Apple Computer product/brand philosophy of less=more. Keeping design clean, minimal, iconic, and leaning toward sans serif typeface.
