My Bio: A young media maven in the making, Crystal Chandler is well on her way to being a media powerhouse (think Issa Rae meets Ava DuVernay). A Suffolk University graduate, Crystal is already putting her Broadcast Journalism degree to great use. Her love of video production and storytelling has already propelled her towards a number of opportunities; one of which included covering the dedication of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute which featured a number of prominent speakers including President Barack Obama. Recently, Crystal was invited to partake in the press line for the premiere of Oprah Winfrey Network’s hit show Queen Sugar where she had the opportunity to meet director, Ava Duvernay. Currently, Crystal is 1/2 of an award winning local radio show called Boston Come Through on Boston Free Radio. And she just launched a video project called "Dear Black Boy" & "Dear Black Girl" which aims to flood the internet with positive affirmations for black boys and girls. In her spare time, you can find Crystal perusing her own platform, The Crystal Lens, to merge her love of media, social justice, travel and youth empowerment. She truly enjoys using her platform to highlight the intersectional stories of the often marginalized communities. Crystal enriches her personal life by collecting stamps in her passport, with South Korea being her most recent cultural experience. Her goal? To have touched down on every continent in the world, Antarctica included. Crystal’s favorite fun fact about herself is she has five favorite colors. Which ones you ask? Well, you’ll have to ask her.
The Crystal Lens Productions is all about video production and empowerment. Think urban Boston. My audience is typically marginalized groups of people who's voices are often silenced. So I want this to embody that concept as well.

I'm open to color suggestions! But I would love to have a jet black background. Something that can easily be inverted if I needed it to be on a step & repeat back drop or on a white background instead of black. But again, I'm open to designer suggestions!

I like the complexity of this design. I could see this on a t-shirt, a business card or on the back of a jacket so it feels very versatile.
I like that the illustration is unique and if I saw it by itself I would still be able to recognize that it belongs to citrusBPM
I love that the illustration is unique enough to be recognized without the words "Puppy Warrior Studios" but I would like something a little more mature than this.
I like the simplicity of this logo and again, that the bird and the arch are unique enough to be recognized without the "Bower House Creative" on it. I also like that Bower House is bigger than Creative since that's the more important part of the design.
I like that the logo incorporates a design of the letter E which reminds me a lot of the Google logo which is the letter G with 4 different colors on it.
I like that the illustration and the words are incorporated into one. It's different and something I hadn't thought of before. I also LOVE the neon colors on the black background.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this logo because it is clean, sharp and simple. I also like that I could envision the Leopard being animated as well which is something I want to do with my logo in the future. I also like that it could easily be inverted
This logo is okay. Not my favorite but i like that the logo incorporates the film concept in it.
I want this logo to incorporate a design that can also stand alone without the words "Crystal Lens Productions". Something very unique and one-of-a-kind that will be useful 10 and 20 years from now - so timeless. Maybe try playing around with the concept of a camera lens and a crystal stone? I want my brand to be recognizable even when the words are not present. So think big movie companies like Warner Brothers, Pixar, Disney or Paramount where their brand is recognized even when their name is not on the logo design because it's so unique to them. Additionally, think along the lines of something that can eventually be animated which I want to do in future. I will be using this logo for all of my video production projects - so think along the lines of "Crystal Lens Productions presents [INSERT MOVIE TITLE]" and also for some photography watermarks as well.
