Let me know before paying the files will be editable (vector and / or PSD editable with layers in high res. / super high-res. All told, I paid $2k out of my pocket, invested almost a month examining and arguing over logo designs with my friends and associates, and upset a LOT of designers who thought their work should be chosen. I want to know that if I have small concerns they will be handled.
The system worked great, the designer (Hendrix) was great and the people at 99d were great.
I had a great experience working with this designer. He was very receptive to my feedback and produced creative and original designs. I love my new logo and I think it effectively communicates my organization's core messages.
I thought the designer adjusted very well during the contest. I was originally going with another design. But he must have noticed I like the sword and shield feel to the logo design and he was able to make an adjustment that made his design my favorite.

The logo needs to be clear when small (when placed on the spine of a book) as well as eye catching when used as a FB profile image. My name doesn't necessarily need to be in the logo image. Initials would work, or just a logo image. Also, an alternate would be Shattered Glass Publishing, the publishing house name I use. Please avoid use of writing implements (pens, quills, pencils, etc.) as they are overused in the industry.
