Art & Design
Cactus Quilt Shop is a fabric and notions store that wants to create an a community for quilters and sewists to share their love of creative fabric arts. The original shop has been around for 24 years, but is coming under new ownership and the new owner wants to modernize the look and feel but not change it so much that she loses previous customers. The shop is in Arizona, in the Sonoran desert, so she does want to include imagery appropriate to the desert and quilting. The target audience is women, ages 35 and older.
Other color requirements
The client likes sage and lilac, but doesn't want muted colors. She also loves the prickly pear cactus (green with deep purple or bright red fruit and flowers - we've added an inspiration photo to the supporting files) as a color palette and motif.
The client is looking for a logo that can be used as an icon/avatar and we've included some examples of ones we like. We want something with clean lines - nothing too complicated that won't size well. The logo will be used on signage, bags, website and social media, on stationery, apparel, and in trade show booths - pretty much everywhere. We've attached some inspiration images: 1. Missouri Star Quilt Logo - we love that it's simple, and clean with some color and incorporates quilting. 2. My Girlfriend's Quilt Shoppe - We like the circular image (it would be great as an icon and instantly recognizable) though we don't like the green/white colors. 3. Stitchin' Heaven - We like how they incorporated Texas and cowboy boots + quilts into the logo. 4. Prickly Pear Cactus - we love these colors. Our first review of prospective designs will be on Monday, September 27 at 1:00PM Central Time in the United States.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
