How margolis.brad started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are selling an agricultural pesticide. Practically speaking, we are selling a solution for insects and a variety of pests to famers who grow higher end crops like almonds and grapes. Our customers are not big city people and typically more traditional/conservative. We want to push the boundaries in our industry, but do not want to push too far and alienate our customer base. Also, while our product kills insects, we would prefer not to feature a bug or insect in the logo. The emphasis is more about a healthy plant than killing anything. We want the logo/branding to convey a positive sentiment.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Other color requirements
Additionally, our product is organic, but we want to feel slightly different than most organic products. Typically organic products lean heavily on green, which is why we went preferred a more red, white and blue color scheme. That said, we envisioned a darker blue (maybe navy) as the primary color with red (not a harsh red) and white as additional colors. We want this to look good on a business card, car wrap, shirt, hat and any marketing materials. While this is the vision, please feel free to take some artistic license.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Ultimately we need a wordmark logo (Barrett 30) and a lettermark logo (B30). I assumes it's best to start with "Barrett 30", but please design knowing we will also need a "B30" mark.
