How QuestionScout started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
QuestionScout / questionscout
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
QuestionScout is a tool that allows businesses and individuals to create online forms and surveys. At the essence, QuestionScout is a tool that allows people to collect data (through the means of asking and answering questions). Tools that you might know that does something very similar are Typeform and Surveymonkey.
Our target audience is incredibly broad, as our usage ranges from students, universities, individuals, small businesses and enterprises. We're looking for a logo mark accompanied by a typeface that people can remember and resonate with. We want to be that tool that's part of their "happy list" of tools, like MailChimp or Stripe.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I would like to reiterate this to all new & existing designers working on this contest. You have *full* creative freedom on creating our logo mark. We're more than willing to modify our marketing content to work with the new brand mark (use whatever font style you'd like, serifs or sans. Also use any colors you think to work well with our brand. You have full creative freedom!).
We're mainly looking for a logo mark that people will remember. A mark that differentiates us from our competition (feel free to google for some other online form/survey building tool, and you'll get the idea). A mark that makes people feel welcomed and warm. We have cases where we use our mark separately, and where we use it alongside our logo text, so both of these need to be designed.
Our logo will be displayed in small and large sizes, so it needs to be capable of being displayed that way (think favicon size vs billboard size). We will also be using it in both colored & black/white variations, so we would prefer a logo that's able to handle both.
You can play around with our current application on https://www.questionscout.com to get a feel for what we're doing. Creating an account is completely free.
