Ant199425 got their new logo design by running a design contest:

PAPERBOY is a brand new type of wireless technology that allows people to download digital newspapers or video content onto their mobiles or tables (via wifi) incredibly fast at busy public locations like stations, shopping centres, airports. There are three critical challenges to the brief First we are looking for an incredibly simple icon/symbol which people will instantly recognise as PAPERBOY which is in-offensive and can sit any or all environments whether that is the waiting area of a train station, a bus stop, the back of a taxi or a cinema foyer. As such it may need to stand out in a variety of colours and on a variety of surfaces (where it will sit as a call to action that this service is there). Look at the pictograms from Otl Aicher at the 1972 olympics as inspiration for the symbol. The CRITICAL thing about the symbol is it signifies the incredibly fast delivery of news/entertainment content (on mobiles/tablets) in that space so think about how this can be conveyed visually. Second although the PAPERBOY logo/icon will be used mostly on its onwn out in the public it also needs to work with a word mark as on our core assets like websites and business cards we would use both the symbol and a word mark which ideally work together and also needs designing as part of a master logo. Think the Nike swoosh used as the mark/icon and the word NIKE designed in a way it can be used with swoosh on corporate literature. As in the above the symbol will be used in loads of different environments often with the word PAPERBOY but using the native font of the location wherever the symbol is so we would only use our design of the word paper boy on our website. Thirdly the delivery of the content is done over wifi so we would like to explore who the typical design language of wifi could be incoporated into the symbol HOWEVER this should not be a core design element. The key things are simple classic pictogram design icon that would fit in any environment that represents a call to action to the viewer that they can connect to a wifi network and download digital content incredibly fast.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Greens: Growth, harmony and success. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.

Almarinov captured the spirit of the concept and came up with a design that was far better than what I had originally imagined! He delivered what I requested, on time and never made a fuss about revisions. I WILL be sending future projects his way!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
