How solwayfarms started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our family sells fresh local produce and meat (possibly in the future) that is raised in a sustainable way to enhance nutrition, lower carbon footprint, and teach responsibility and build relationships in our community. We want the consumer to have a strong connection/appreciation with where their food comes from and who raised it. Most of our work will be done by hand on a small scale.
Search: no till Market Gardening for reference of what small scale vegetable farming looks like.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our farm is dedicated to building the soil health and protecting the precious resources provided to us for our sons and for future generations.
I want our customers to not only purchase our products but I want to build relationships in the community. People need to be more connected with where their food comes from.
No barns or tractors in the logo, please.
Solway is the historic name of the place we live.
Also, in the our state's (Kentucky) song there is a line that says "oh, the sun shines bright on my old Kentucky home". I am not set on having "oh the sun shines bright" in my logo but it is just an idea that I have had.
