goingforgreenfarm got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a flower farm logo to appeal to women
Check out goingforgreenfarm's Logo design contest…
We grow and sell cut flowers from a small farm in Virginia. We sell flowers locally directly to the public at farmer's markets and to florists. We grow organically. We are targeting women in their 40s-60s looking for everyday flowers to brighten their homes or give to a friend to brighten their day. Our main markets are direct sales at farmer’s markets and wholesale to florists. The women we direct sell to enjoy supporting local, good customer service, and forming a relationship with their farmer. The logo should speak strongly to these groups.
Can leave out "LLC" if easier. I think I like emblem logos, but am open to seeing anything. We want our logo to convey that we GROW and sell flowers. I was thinking of using some kind of gardening implement like a shovel, wheelbarrow, or green tractor along with flowers to convey that we grow what we sell, but this is not required. Or main products are mixed bouquets wrapped in brown paper and mason jar arrangements (see pictures). Flowers we grow include: Peonies, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Celosia, Cosmos, Tulips, daffodils, and lilies. The font used should be easy to read. When people look at the logo, I want them to notice the business name first and any graphics second. Logo will be used for website header, business card, farmers market banner, and printed on t-shirts. More pictures of flowers grown at instagram.com/goingforgreenfarm
