Regarding the addsomepink logo (consisting of visual and word mark) we would like to see pink as the little thing that makes everything a bit better. So pink of course is mandatory, but NOT the dominating color. It should just be SOME pink, not ALL pink.
Important: The written brand name addsomepink AND the visual have to work in three different scenarios:
1: Both (visual and wordmark „addsomepink“) together
2: Wordmark only
3: Visual only.
The visual has to have an idea that reflects either what we’re doing: communications, personal, digital.
Or it dramatizes the story: only pink makes it perfect.
As written in the general comment: I could imagine some kind of a „+“shaped icon as the visual. It emphasizes the idea of adding something (in this very special and logo related case pink). And the plus could either be pink or have pink part(s). Translated it says: Hey, with addsomepink you’re adding some good to your brand and communications.
When designing the wordmark/brandname’s layout: Please don’t put the word „pink“ in pink. That’s too bold. Pink should definitely occur in the design of the word mark, but with a twist: „add“ in pink oder just one letter or the . of the i or whatever reflects more the idea: with some pink it’s gonna be better, it’s complete, it’s perfect…
