Who are you known as?
LUNA or LUNA Language Services
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
LUNA Language Services provides a large spectrum of direct language services (interpreting, document translating, etc) in over 90 languages including American Sign Language, education (to interpreters seeking to specialize their skills or incoming refugees and immigrants seeking a new career, to the public at large on cultural intelligence and equal access to services and information under the law, and to service providers on best practices when using interpreters in different settings), and community outreach through joint advocacy efforts (with community partner organizations serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations and refugee groups). Our profit work is mainly in the area of the language services and we have contracts with the largest hospital groups in the region, all the state courts, and many of the corporate and non-profit entities in town. Our non-profit work is more on the side of education and outreach. Our company is grounded in a mission of service as it was started by a former peace corps volunteer and run with his wife, a former human rights attorney.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are a company in business for almost 15 years as Indianapolis Interpreters and are rebranding to better represent what are business is currently doing (more than interpreting and in much further reaching places than Indianapolis alone). We chose the name LUNA Language Services, which we hope will be pared down in people's minds as LUNA over time. Because of that we would prefer LUNA to be either all caps or someone with much greater emphasis than the other parts of our name. Luna is a word that means "moon" in most romantic languages. We choose it for that meaning, and think a subtle or symbolic connection to the moon would be appropriate in the logo, but do not want to be TOO literal about it. If there is a moon in the logo, we prefer it not to be a crescent moon, but a full moon as we will likely be creating products around the concept of LUNA 360. Please feel free to check out our current website (www.indianapolisinterpreters.com - soon to be revamped!, our facebook page and or twitter/instagram for other inspiration. @INDYterpreters is our handle on the latter two. Generally speaking, we like the apple green, orange and darker "smurf" blue from the following color scheme (as well as a corresponding yellow): http://www.colorschemer.com/schemes…hp?id=9951 I will attach some marketing material and a document that contains a photo of our office which I think should be helpful! Not sure if this is allowed, but you can reach out to me in for any questions at marina@ idnianapolisinterpreters.com . THANK YOU!
