krisjF got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a retro and rustic logo for an offshoot of a farm business
Check out krisjF's Logo design contest…
This is for some products that my son will be selling under the umbrella of my main farm business that produces fresh pasture raised meats that we sell locally as well as artisanal beef jerky and salami that we distribute more broadly in retail locations across the northeast as well as online. He is 6 and wants to feel like he is a part of the family business so we got him a flock of geese and ducks that he will sell eggs from as well as one grass-fed dairy cow that he will sell some milk, cheese, and butter from. Both of my son's and their dairy cow (a jersey) both have red hair, hence "redhead". While this is technically for a line of products that my little boys will be behind, we want to have something that meshes well with the look of our current farm marketing (would love to see some options with "karl Family Farms" in the font in file below) and that we can possibly use a subsidiary brand as we expand our business and the boys get older. Our target audience is a health conscious consumer and/or foodie who is looking for premium products that are produced locally, sustainably and with an honest maker behind them, not some big national company. Many of our customers are also parents who are conscious of what food they are feeding their children. Our customers range in age but most frequently will be 25-50 with a fairly high education level, good income, strong values, and a healthy lifestyle focused on natural, organic, and real goods. We have both male and female customers but generally more females.
Other color requirements
obviously with "redhead" we would like some red. Also our main business Karl Family Farms color scheme is barn red and tan generally but we are fine with anything from monotone, black and white, to full multiple color.
attached find some photos of the boys dairy cow "buttercup", Some branding stuff from our main farm business, some pictures of the boys, their ducks, etc. Would love to incorporate the cow, ducks, & geese as well as the boys in a somewhat hand drawn look. Alternate option could be the boys with a basket of eggs and a pail or glass milk jug/bottle
