The demographics of our target audience is men and women, middle aged, educated, academic.
The company is a global service for publishers and pharmaceutical companies. We will be helping them to distribute predominantly written content owned by the publishers that pharma buys and make freely available to doctors around the world.
We will be very slick and clever in comparison to any other technology available within the same field. The content is available both online and in an app, so basically cloud based and available anytime anywhere.
The logo we are looking for will be used primarily towards pharma and publishers as they are the buyers. These are both very venerable and rather classic in their design choices, all though they both like to think they are pushing the cutting edge.
We, on the other hand, are actually pushing past the existing and have developed a technological service that is far ahead of anything available presently.
The name of the company is ePrintsKiosk, with the eprint being the most important part of the name.
We are therefore looking for for a design that can signal the nature of the project and both signal a technological step forward as well as something very functional, trustworthy dealing with medical content in a respectful and secure way. the design is mainly going to be used online and in our app, but we are hoping it could work in monochrome versions too.
As for style we are feeling that it should be simple, easy to recognize, uncomplicated, almost zen koan in it’s ability to signal simplicity covering for enormously complex underneath workings.
As for actual design we are completely stumped and open to anything, and having worked in publishing, advertising and the film industry we are both able to cope with early stage concepts and ideas and work with designers to formulate and critique to achieve a smashing end result.
