Lduggins got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Columbkille Press needs a new logo
Check out Lduggins's Logo design contest…
Columbkille Press is a private label press for emerging church Christian books. St Columbkille was a fifth century Irish saint who spread Christianity all over Scotland. The word Columbkille means "dove of the Church."
Logo types to explore
I want a line drawing of a dove (representing the Holy Spirit) taking off from the top of a celtic cross. The dove example jpg is too complex, but has a good shape. It must be a celtic cross ( the one with the circle in the middle) and I prefer straight lines in the cross rather than the slants in the example. The dove should still be in contact with the cross. The logo should have an Irish or Scottish feel - simple, a touch of the ancient, a touch of the modern.
