Sfalter got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Canine Wounded Heroes needs a new logo

Community & Non-Profit
The mission of Canine Wounded Heroes is to provide medical care, rehabilitation, and forever retirement homes for military, fire & rescue, tracking, and other service dogs wounded or injured in the line of duty. Too often, these animals are put down because there is no money for their long term care. CHW also provides preventive "field" equipment to help safeguard the dogs, such as protective vests and canine oxygen masks.
Logo types to explore
If you want to use a dog in the design, please use a breed that is common to rescue and law enforcement work, like a german shepherd, a golden retriever, or a labrador retriever. We would prefer a logo that is hopeful and happy. We don't want any "sad dogs". We are trying to convey a happy ending for these hard working dogs.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
