Something to keep in mind is that Reinventuring.Me is all about transitioning, moving from a known state to a less-known state. It involves risk and willingness to adventure.
One of the metaphors that will be prominently used in our materials is an ocean wave. The design does not need to incorporate that element but a design with a simple/subtle wave component may be attractive.
Another design aspect could be to convey edges or boundaries. Transitions are experienced when we reach the edge/boundary of an old paradigm. Guy Kawasaki once wrote, "What really matters happens at the edges – that is, where one surface or material meets or changes into another – is a key principle of architecture. The action is not in the centers or areas of sameness."
Tom Stoppard also wrote, "Look on every exit as an entrance somewhere else." That suggests a doorway metaphor which may also be an attractive design element.
These suggestions are meant to enhance your creativity in thinking about the design rather than as constraints to your great ideas. Look upon them as suggestions to spark your imagination.
